Dr. Tim Triche began his career in chemistry before transitioning to the tech industry, where he gained invaluable experience in handling probability at scale while working at an Internet company “named after a large number.” Subsequently, he pursued higher education with the intention of shifting towards research within the same company but found his calling in rare pediatric leukemia research instead. This journey led him to his current role as a faculty member, specializing in Internet-scale models of biology, with a particular focus on protein folding and rare blood diseases. His dedication to advancing medical science is evident in his ongoing efforts to find solutions for blood-related disorders, embodying a commitment to making meaningful contributions to healthcare.
